An iconic pair of Harry Bertoia Diamond Chairs for Knoll, circa 1960s/70s, in original white finish with fantastic burnt-orange Knoll seat pads. Designed in 1952, the Diamond Chair is one of Bertoia’s most recognizable forms — part furniture, part sculpture, and constructed almost entirely from welded steel wire.
This matched pair retains wonderful vintage character, including genuine Knoll-branded seat pads. The chairs were previously used outdoors, and the white frames show scattered finish loss, light surface oxidation, scuffs, and wear consistent with age and exposure. The orange seat pads show age and use but remain wonderfully vibrant. Structurally solid and ready to use.
A beautifully sculptural pair with just the right amount of patina — and an especially good-looking combination in white and burnt orange.
