Classic Danish Modern Arne Vodder Model 207 executive desk made by Sibast in the 1960s. It’s got that clean “floating top” look, warm teak grain, and a great mix of storage, including drawers and cabinet space. The back is fully finished too, so it works just as well floating in the middle of a room as it does against a wall.
Vodder was trained under Finn Juhl (and later became a close friend and collaborator), and you can really see that same calm, architectural Danish Modern style in pieces like this.
Honestly, this is one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever come across. The proportions are just right, it looks incredible from every angle, and it has that rare combination of being genuinely functional while still feeling like a design statement. Desks like this don’t come up often either, this model is increasingly hard to find in the wild, especially in this kind of complete, usable setup.
Condition: Cosmetically 7.5/10. The surface has minor wear and character marks throughout. Typical wear for it being 65+ years old. It’s in original vintage condition, which makes it extra unique. I’ll take character and patina over a new stain any day!
