Sometimes an object doesn’t need a complicated story. Sometimes it just needs to be turquoise and say COFFEE in enormous yellow letters.
This vintage lithographed metal kitchen canister has a fitted lid, wonderfully bold typography, and just the right amount of honest surface wear from years of actual use. We weren’t able to identify a manufacturer, but whoever made it understood the assignment. Great on a kitchen shelf, even better mixed into a collection of old advertising and pantry tins.
