Simple, elegant, and exceptionally well made, this Danish teak dining table by Ansager Møbelfabrik captures everything people love about Scandinavian modern design. The softly rounded top, warm teak grain, and sculptural pedestal base give it a clean, understated presence that works beautifully in both modern and traditional interiors.
The table includes an integrated extension leaf, allowing it to expand easily when extra seating is needed. It shows some age-related wear consistent with decades of use, including light surface marks and a distinct drink ring on the tabletop. These signs of use add to its vintage character and tell the story of a piece that has been enjoyed and well loved over the years. Perhaps a good candidate for a new stain, but as always, I really prefer these pieces in their original vintage form.
