Attributed to Plycraft and likely dating to the 1960s, this lounge chair and ottoman feature beautiful camel leather, gorgeous molded wood shells, and Frank Doerner-manufactured metal components. It has all the style and comfort of the iconic Eames lounge chair, with decades of character to match.
The molded wood shells are in excellent condition and show beautifully. The camel leather has developed a rich vintage patina over the years and still has great color with no noticeable fading. There is some expected cracking and wear on the seat cushion, along with two small matching worn spots on the armrests where thumbs naturally rested over time. Nothing distracting, just honest vintage wear.
The chair reclines deeply and is incredibly comfortable. It’s the kind of chair you sit in for five minutes and end up staying for an hour.
